Night in the city - Waiting. #iPhoneography
Driving through town last week I set the camera genius app on burst mode & big button (I think it's called that...) no matter what part of the screen your finger touches causes the app to take a photo.
I don't get out all that often, so when I do I tend to become a little obsessed with photographing my surroundings. I took shots through the windows when stopped at traffic lights then held the phone, lens pointing towards the windscreen, as I drove. An experiment, as my attention was on the road etc not the camera lens and my touch on the screen was entirely random. I didn't actually think that any of the shots would be useable...
Before anyone should think to give me a safety lecture- I drive an automatic. The part of road I did this is straight and there was no other traffic near me at the time. There were oddly enough no pedestrians either. That in between time in city centres after the shops close and offices empty, before the eaters and drinkers and theatre goers arrive...
Apps used;
Camera genius, Photoshop express, Photofx, Photoforge and Strip designer to present some of the the sequences.
Oh there's some info on our buildings in the third image, taken from the Wikipedia article.
